THOUGHTS AFTER READING: 1 Samuel 6-10 and Luke 24

Being in the presence of God is such a precious gift. There is a reverence that He is due always. I must never become careless about worship. Nothing can hinder my relationship with Him. Anything that is in the way must be dealt with. I must remember every Ebenezer place in my life. God has been a very present help. I must be careful about what I ask for and make sure that it is in line with the will of God. What others have, no matter how attractive it seems, may not be good for me. No matter how insignificant I may feel I am, God can still be glorified through me- if I obey and acknowledge him. I cannot grieve God. He has spoken through his servants concerning me. He will confirm His word. Everyone will not understand or rejoice over the work of God in my life. That cannot be a hindrance. I have to remember all that God has done!

I have to remember the word of God. Things that should cause me to rejoice should not cause me to worry.
