QUARANTINE LIFE: OUTSIDE

I took a drive. I hadn't done that in a very long time. The pandemic has only reinforced the homebody that I am. Between the cicadas and the Delta variant, I needed no more incentives to stay inside, or severely limit the mile radii of my travels. I realized that it was becoming easier to remain at home. What I didn't want to creep in, was fear.

The only thing I noticed, other than the lovely day, was that everyone seemed to be in an awful hurry. Either I was driving incredibly slowly, or everyone else was speeding...I mean, really speeding. I clearly annoyed several people, especially the driver of a very nice, green Jaguar. I hope that he, or she made it to his or her destination. I did, and have to admit, when I arrived, I was feeling a bit old...lol
