MONDAY THOUGHTS: VETERANS’ DAY

“Veterans Day originated as “Armistice Day” on November 11, 1919, the first anniversary of the end of World War I. Congress passed a resolution in 1926 for an annual observance, and, beginning the 11th day of November 1938, Veterans' Day became a national holiday.

Unlike Memorial Day, Veterans' Day pays tribute to ALL American veterans—living or deceased—and especially salutes living veterans, who served their country with honor, during war or peacetime.”

Thank you to all veterans, particularly my Dad, Grandfather, brother, uncles, and cousins.
