QUARANTINE LIFE: TO SIR …

I was about 7 years old when Virgil Tibbs slapped Eric Endicott. It was strangely satisfying. The lessons?

1. Don’t START nothin’, won’t BE nothin’.

2. Keep your hands to yourself.

3. Some people have to be shocked out of their ignorance and entitlement.

4. “Nice” , “dignified”, and “polite” don’t mean “pushover”.

5. Abusive people can’t take what they dish out.

6. The deserved response will sometimes be considered worse than the arrogant action that prompted it.

7. If intelligence and ability offends or angers someone, that’s their problem, not yours.

8. There’s a first time for everything.
