QUARANTINE LIFE: DECISION

I imagine that many feel like Opey did on today’s episode of TAGS— fed up with chaos-loving bullies, and determined to call their bluff.
Gloves off.
Enough is enough.

Monday’s meeting of the Electoral College should be the end of it. Section 3 of the 14th amendment characterizes the recent behavior of many congressional leaders:

“No Person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.”

Few things are more bizarre than hearing people for whom “the system” has always worked, lamenting that it has failed.

Many who have enjoyed the benefit of being above the law, are probably stunned that not everyone will continue to lie, scheme, and cheat; that entitlement has limits.

The Supremes shocked a lot of people today--quickly. I guess justices do respect the law on occasion, and don’t like the notion that they’ve been bought, and installed to do dirty work.

Everyone suggesting that the next stop for The Sedition Show should be Judge Judy’s courtroom, has clearly, never watched Judge Judy...
