The superficial and the mediocre always pale in comparison to the substantive and excellent, and they try in vain to assert their newness as strength and originality.
There's a reason why some things never seem to neither grow old, nor die. Don't exhaust or frustrate yourself trying to compete with, belittle, envy, or attempt to replace them. Learn from them.
