So…as I attempted to remove the lampshade to change the bulb, the whole top came off.
These were my Mom’s lampshades, so they’re at least 20 years old.
I’ve been good about decluttering and letting things go throughout the pandemic, but I couldn’t bring myself to throw the lampshade away.
“If you were really an artist”, I laughed to myself, “you’d fix it.”
I didn’t really have a plan. I just grabbed the painter’s tape, and the small can of primer…then realized I couldn’t do one and not the other.
