For years, Autumn meant a working vacation. Each year I anticipated traveling to warm, tropical destinations.
Practically every day, now, an email from a cruise line is in my inbox.
I just laugh.
I hear the very first pandemic test-cruise-to-nowhere didn’t go so well.
It’s funny how something that was once so appealing, safe, and wonderful suddenly leaves you skeptical.
I’m thankful for the memories, though. I love seeing photos pop up in Facebook memories. I'm still amazed at the roster of artists with which I had the honor to work.
And it was work, but it was a whole lot of fun.
