QUARANTINE LIFE

Thunder has been the only thing that has drowned out the cicada symphony, and it really rolled today. For a split second the power went out, and I was sure there would be a substantial downpour, but there was very little rain—except for the cicadas’. Their “rain” is showing up on local news weather maps as precipitation. One was perched on the porch this morning as if it was waiting to come in. After being divebombed by one of his cousins the other day, I armed myself with a can of Lysol as I retrieved a package, then decided I’d continue to admire the skies from the inside. 🙂
