THURSDAY THOUGHTS: STUFF MY ELDERS SAID

You can’t walk away when you’re cooking.

A dog that will bring a bone, will carry one.

Your supervisor has a supervisor.

If nobody else is doing right, you do it.

A lot of people don’t want a leader, they want somebody they can tell what to do.

You are not a twin.

When somebody calls you “chicken”, just say, “Well YOU do it, then”.

If you lie, you’ll steal.

They not doing nothing for you. Why you worrying about what they say?

A hit dog will always holler... every time.

A child needs a father AND a mother.

If you got to fuss and fight to keep it, you don’t need it.

Clean your room. You never know how you’re gonna have to come back home. Don’t leave looking better than the place you left.

People don’t have to be nice.

You save yourself a lot of headache if you do it right the first time.

How do you know if you don’t like it if you’ve never tried it? Just say you don’t want it.

If you get up soon in the morning and get your work done, you’ll have the whole day for yourself.

Your time is worth something.

Lazy people work hard.

Close the door! I can’t heat/cool the outside!

When people put up with foolishness, there’s a payoff.

Take care of what belongs to somebody else as if it is your own.

The truth will always come out.

Happy Heavenly 61st wedding anniversary, Mommy and Dad.❤️
