The ability to identify what is unifying and what is divisive, preserves harmony, peace, and fortifies appropriately placed boundaries.
Insecurity will cause a person to conclude that their only allies are the very individuals who misuse, disrespect, and oppress them.
They will embrace chaos, and wonder why others find no comfort in it.

The insecure person will do the bidding of evil people;
foolishly encourage them in their actions, harm good people, and lose
access to the kindness all around them, and the confidence and respect of those who
sincerely care.
A secure, wise person values truth and integrity, and won't sit idly, and silently by while imps tear up (or tear down) his or her own house.
A wise person, also, will not remain in a house riddled with structural fractures from the foundation to the roof.
