WEDNESDAY THOUGHTS: KEEP MOVING

I thought the plan that was proposed, was extremely generous, but unnecessary.
Now I see more clearly why it was implemented. Someone is righting a very old wrong, while someone else is eating crow.

I admire those who are neither afraid, nor intimidated to set records straight, even if it means a decline in their own popularity or position.

Speaking truth shouldn't be a liability, but some people are so invested in false narratives, that the truth is unbearable. It would require a drastic altering of their routines, or a reevaluation of the strength of particular relationships.

Some people can foresee problems that you don't want to consider.
You'd like to think that people are wrong in their estimation of others, but when they're not, it can be painful to admit that they are right.
You hate to think the worst of people, but when they demonstrate a history of selfishness, insecurity, vindictiveness and greed, you have to face it it, --and be happy that someone who DID see it, is looking out for you.

Some people know exactly what they're talking about. You KNOW it, and you hate it.
Wisdom, discernment, truth, and experience are on their side.
The words of the wise aren't always welcome, nor always easy to swallow, but they're right
Don't reject them. Embrace the heck out of them. Learn from them.

What someone could have done, or should have done is of no consequence after the fact.
Don't assume that the good that YOU would have done concerning THEM, will ever be a factor in their behavior.
"Oh, I didn't know",
"I forgot",
"I didn't think about it", and
"I didn't think you would have been interested" are among the biggest lies ever told.

There's a reason why people delay.
Maybe you would like to have gone.
Maybe you could have done it.
Maybe your input would have made a difference.

If there's still time--if the opportunity presents itself again, don't conclude that you can't
Ask yourself if you really WANT to.
There are ways to get where you need, or want to go, and do what you want to do.
You always have a choice.
You can sidestep the monkey wrenches and stumbling blocks that others throw in your path, and keep moving--if you want to.

Stop pouting and get going, if that's your desire. Selfishness and thoughtlessness, on the part of others, doesn't ever have to cripple you.
It may be the most cliche or all cliches, but what God has for you, really is for you, and he'll make sure you get it.

God is always watching to see whether you will honor Him.
Don't let Him down--no matter what others do.
