It’s the last of several drawings, I'd finished last year. I understand my urgency, then, to capture him, now. He was a thinker...Witty...Wise. He didn’t mince words. He didn’t like mess.
I wondered what he’d be thinking, then imagined him saying, “You know what? I ain’t paying that no mind…”, in that southern drawl that the DMV only intensified.
I burst out laughing, because I’m confident, he’d be laughing, too. 🙂
