You may not understand the process at first, but the confidence that you have in the leader, and that he and others have in you, to contribute to the product, removes all jitters. That’s when you forget it’s work. You were taught to be teachable. You really want to, and hope you’re doing your best—not in a people-pleasing kind of way—but because everyone is on one accord. Time flies. You’re inspired by, not just the talent, expertise, and experience in the room, but the kindness, humanity, helpfulness, respect, humor, encouragement, and work ethic. You don’t want it to end, but that’s a part of the process, too.
When, and wherever they appear, be grateful for pleasant people, stress-free, cooperative, disciplined, creative, and fun work environments, competent, honest, appreciative leadership…oh...and lots of water. 🙂
