THURSDAY THOUGHTS

I'm grateful for the Arthur Fonzarelli’s, David Puddy’s, B.A. Baracus’s, Cooter Davenport’s, and Goober and Gomer Pyle’s in life—You know, the competent people who were taught how to fix stuff (by thrifty, skilled people who took pride in their work, and knew the importance of knowing how to fix stuff, themselves). If they can’t do a thing, they know someone who can. They’re ready to help, even if it means altering their own plans, and although they deserve it, they’re neither looking nor asking for anything in return. They make things look easy, are confident they can get a job done, and bump what you thought was a mountain, down to a mere anthill. They also ride around with random, yet proper tools and bottled water in the trunks of their vehicles…and what not. 🙂
