"I was so proud...And for it to be...like... an anthem? It's an ANTHEM! It's a legit, Turn-to-page-432-in-your-hymnals, anthem!
For it to be juxtaposed with something so ridiculous happening on the screen...Because you get it! You get the trope. Something over-the-top is going on...and when them sopranos started singing...They never stopped singing!
That went on for a solid minute-and-a-half! And whoever was ad-libbing...
You just don't see it coming. You can't...The disbelief...like, the surprise of it, but then it was funny! 'Cause it's like, "No they didn't take this song...".
And, of all the places and scenes that song could have been...like..."Oh, they went to church..." And for it to be attached to something so hilarious, is... hilarious!
I wasn't even pressed to watch it, but the fireplace was working, and I was like...you know...try...you know...do the (holiday) things.
The fact that it was early in the movie, just to kind of put you in a mood? I was like, "Okay, I'll finish watching it, just because that was so well done...
I told Tiffani, you'll bust out laughing at least once....
They NEVER stopped singing!...lol
