Just search my blog, and you’ll know how I feel about the noise. I don't have to repeat how much I loathe it in all of its insanity, inconsideration, and danger, but Maryland has never, EVER sounded like this. This is some Pentagon-grade, warmongering artillery being visited on the neighborhood. I’ve always sung praises of its peacefulness, but that would be ridiculous and hardly applicable tonight (and for the past several nights).
I remember the time I would have dialed 911. Why bother.
I was happy to see the rain today. I was really hoping it would continue into the night. It was quite an impressive downpour that brought a bit of noise with it, but it was short lived.
Is it wrong, now, to hope for wet matches, malfunctioning lighters, and a gigantic swarm of mosquitoes to end the simulated war zone occurring outside?
