They know their own
They raised, and trained them
And now they groan
They can’t restrain them
Not in the way they destroyed others
The evil ones?
Their sons and daughters
Who terrorize, but they call them “good”
They’re just “upset”, and “misunderstood”
Their skin protects them from the same fate
Suffered by those who learned much too late
That certain rules and laws don’t apply
Peaceful protest guarantees you die
They fueled the fire
They stoked, and fanned it
Rebellion thrives
They hid their hands and planned it
The hate is real, deep seated, scary
Ignorance fueled; now baffled, wary
They know the thugs will not be tamed
Not one arrest, else they’ll be named
Not patriots, but terrorists all
O Beautiful, in hell-bound free fall
The world now sees,
Hypocrisy reigns
Justice implodes;
Democracy wanes
Just look at her—America, brought low
A disgrace, a charade, a pitiful show
Leaders have failed
Corruption and blind faith rules
In seats of power, complicit weaklings and fools
Few will speak up; righteousness has disappeared
Yesterday’s scene was what many have feared
They’ve exposed weakness in their ranks
Protesting life. instead of thanks
Bringing guns to a virus war
Millions gone
And there will be more
