The news about the spread of the coronavirus was unsettling enough.
Now, it has arrived in Maryland.
The Governor issued a state of emergency.
Frankly I appreciate the caution.
It would be nice if authorities would be more forthcoming, learn from history, and leave the Science to those who have actual expertise.
Facts really are the best defense.
It’s been a peaceful, rainy day.
I find that I’ve begun this year just like last year— painting. It’s calming.
The thought of staying inside for long periods of time is actually appealing to a homebody like me.
I set my hair free (my arms are tired), replenished my paint, finished another version of the leftie bassist painting, started working on a larger version of “The Women”, and read about elderberry syrup.
I even tried Amazon Fresh for the first time.
THAT could become a habit. The only glitch was that I ordered almond M&M’s (the bag they SAY you’re supposed to share), and got Chobani black cherry Greek yogurt instead—which actually isn’t bad.
I noticed my favorite original scent, professional Lysol spray has increased in price by 8 dollars.
I hadn’t thought of Ivory bar soap in years.
Suddenly I’m thinking of revisiting the soap of my childhood.
It occurred to me that by November, we may be voting American Idol style.
We have the technology.
I can’t imagine how many people would jump at the chance to tele-work and become homebodies, too.
Virtual classrooms? Hmmm.
Okay, now I’m just rambling.
Time for a vegetable... okay, popcorn. Same thing.
Be safe, considerate, wise, and smart, everybody.
