TUESDAY THOUGHTS: BGV LIFE

It was such a pleasure to participate as a background vocalist in a tribute to the late, great George Duke during Berks Jazz Fest 2017, in Reading, PA. 

A stress and drama-free work environment, filled with outstanding musicianship is so special--so is singing with my daughter. 

The friendship and mutual respect demonstrated by Duke mentees, Everette Harp, Phil Perry, and Chante Moore was so admirable, and made for a moving, memorable, and genuine tribute.

Last weekend definitely goes into the Great Weekend file...: )
