QUARANTINE LIFE: SENTIMENTALITY

Sorting, de-cluttering, organizing, and shredding would go a lot faster without curiosity and sentimentality horning in.

Greeting cards.

Postcards.

Old drawings.

Lanyards from events.

Bumper stickers.

Maps.

Obituaries.

Programmes.

Invitations.

Ticket stubs.

Handwritten notes.

Business cards.

Flyers.

Newspaper clippings.

Faded photographs…

Some things you keep, some things you toss…and some things you stop and read or examine which leads to reminiscing, consulting Google, or breaking out a scrapbook or photo album.

The goal is to eliminate, not re-make room for stuff, but some things get rescued—until the next cleaning/de-cluttering urge strikes.

I have to admit it felt great to take those bags of shredded paper to my recycle bin. 🙂
