TAKE THE WORD

I read something that made me say “Wow.”, shake my head, and laugh out loud. Then, I paused. There was no lie.

My Dad used to say, “Take the word, and let the goat go”.

Although an individual may have a lot of nerve; absolutely NO business adding or imposing their two cents; ZERO credibility when it comes to criticizing, advising, correcting, teaching, scolding, attempting to lead, or preaching to others (considering their own conditions, biases, faults, associations, practices, track records, circumstances, ignorance, or past beliefs), if what they’re saying actually has merit; if it’s right or TRUE; if they, in a rare moment of wisdom and clarity, said something that makes irrefutable sense, it might be a shock coming from them, and you, too, might shake your head at the sheer hypocrisy, but don’t dismiss it.
Take the word.
Good advice is good no matter where it originates.
