INFORMATION

I was walking to the kitchen to microwave a bag of popcorn and these words came to mind-
"You can't act on information that you do not have. Sit down and write."
Now let's be clear. I don't leave popcorn for anything. But what compelled me to sit down was strong.

Mommy always said, (especially if we were given a task and didn't do it to her satisfaction), "If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself".

Depending on other people to do stuff is dangerous sometimes. It's not always about whether the task will be done properly. Sometimes it's more about the spirit in which a thing is done.

You have to be careful into whose hands you put your business.
We forget,  often, that what we do is always a reflection on someone else.
Trust is one thing, but Mommy had no problem checking behind us every now and then to make sure her request was honored in an efficient, and timely manner.
In the absence of checks and balances and in the presence of blind trust there is waste, foolishness, and strife.

Everyone will not carry out your affairs with the same degree of care and competence that you would. Everyone enlisted to assist you does not have your heart or best interest in mind. What's critical to you may be nonsense to someone else.

If I have information for you and I don't like you, what is the likelihood that you will get it? If I have information for you and dismiss it, or edit it, what will I possibly set in motion?
If I have information for you and I just don't share it at all, what does that do for you?

Help us, Lord.

Someone is walking around right now thinking that you don't care because you didn't act on a specific piece of information.
The truth is that you didn't act--- not because you didn't want to, were mad, didn't have time, didn't feel like it, weren't interested, didn't understand the importance, decided to ignore it, had an attitude, forgot, or had other plans. You didn't act because you simply didn't know!

You were supposed to know because someone was given the task to tell you and for whatever reason, they dropped the ball.
Now you're left appearing trifling, uncaring, irresponsible, apathetic and lazy.

It's a wonderful thing when you get the information you need in spite of attempts to block it.

Thank God for the wisdom to trust Him and seek Him for oneself. I believe for so many people, a little reconciliation party is in order.
A huge lie has been told, perpetuated and built upon and someone believed it. It's time for a few things to be revealed, cleared up and exposed and--don't you get your knees all scraped up or resurrect all those non-Sunday School words and phrases you have in reserve-- Don't you do a thing. The Owner of Vengeance is the one who is going to bring it all to light.

I am so convinced that God is a Great Shepherd. He sees every wolf, ram, and hireling that is positioned to afflict, neglect and steal from His sheep, and He stands in strength to protect and provide.
God makes ways that leave you completely speechless, and leave the enemy confounded and running like Wile E. Coyote back to the drawing board.

"You can't act on information that you do not have".

Don't sit around waiting for someone to inform you.
Find out for yourself. Get the details for yourself. Weigh circumstances for yourself.
The person who is supposed to be dispensing information may have too much on his or her plate, and your business may be on the bottom of their list.
The person who is supposed to be dispensing information may be arrogantly taking it upon him or herself to decide whether, and when you need to know or not.
When you wake up and realize how much you were supposed to know, don't be angry. Don't fret about all the things and events you missed because you weren't told or you got the information too late.
Some things that people try to keep you away from, aren't for you anyway.

Where the Lord desires for you to be, and what He desires for you to possess, will be yours in spite of attempts to detract, exclude or misinform you. Just wait, watch and see...
